Swim Farm
We started swim farm in the fall of 2020 with just a few kids from our old neighborhood and a few of my children's swim team friends. Now I needed my daughter to create this website! Swim Farm is truly like my third kid I love what I do and I love teaching kids how to swim. I would love to help your kid/kids feel comfortable and be safe in the water!
Little Kids
My favorite use of this pool is working with the little ones. I have been in charge of three different swim schools, have worked with Swim America, and have taught Pool Safety classes and I have also worked with the Special Olympics. The most rewarding aspect of being a swim coach, to me, is watching the little ones that I have worked with graduate to swim teams and beyond.
Big Kids
I have two children that are competitive swimmers, that someday may swim in college. Most colleges have a pool like mine for stroke work, and I work hard to keep up with the latest drills and teaching methods to help them achieve this goal. I also try to improve their mechanics so that they can make it through the grueling swim season without injury.
My pool is not your average backyard pool. I have what is called an Endless Pool. Basically, an endless pool is an underwater treadmill, many large schools like Harvard and Stanford use these pools for their college swimmers to focus on technique. I also use it as a small space to introduce the younger kids to the water so they can put their feet down and not have to worry. I usullay keep it very warm for the little kids so it's generally 90°- 92° on average.
